Taking advantage of Harbin Fair as a perfect chance of promoting local economy, Heihe enhances uniting with the South and opening to the North, so as to promote economic and trade development.
In order to fully take advantage of Harbin Fair and to enhance uniting with the South and opening to the North, the leaders involved in each group as different delegations from Heihe had been dispatched to Blagoveshchensk and Khlasnovck of Russia, as well as Shandong, Dalian, Harbin of China to invite businessmen since April this year. 280 guests from Russia, east Europe and peripheral countries are expected to take part in the fair. Investment invitation to the Great Heihe Island international trade town will be emphasized to attract domestic leading enterprises and businessmen with strength, to enhance actively investment invitation from abroad and attract Russians into the market here while doing the overall invitation for investment. With regard to the tourism, depending on the specially owned natural frontier scene and humane relics, the city will seek extensive cooperation and realize the effective joint of tourist routs, it has introduced recuperation tour of the Great Five Linked Lakes, River Zhan drift tour at Xunke and new routs to the Arctic and the Lake Baikal of Russia. Tourists to Russia from January to April have increased by 14.6 percent with total income increase of 20.4 percent compared with the same period last year. The contract on the eight new touring routs under cooperation with Russia will be signed officially in the fair. Breakthrough has been made to the market in Russia with the construction of China trade town of 45 thousand square meters in Khalasnoyalsk of Russia under the investment of US$6 million from Dadongyuan Trading Company of Heihe. Booths in the trade town will be rent to enhance Chinese commodity export and sale to Russia during the period of Harbin Fair.
